The Last of Us Season 2 will officially premiere in April on HBO in the U.S. and Crave in Canada.
The release home window was validated in a new trailer shown at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), although an exact date wasn’t specified. Check out the intro below:

Those that have played The Last of Us Component II video game whereupon Season 2 is based will certainly identify a great deal in the new footage. Most notably, it offers our initial complete look at Kaitlyn Dever’s Abby, a crucial character from the video game whose tale is fundamentally connected to Joel and Ellie’s. (To state even more would be a huge spoiler.)
Certainly, we also get some peeks at returning personalities Joel (Pedro Pascal), Ellie (Bella Ramsey) and Tommy (Gabriel Luna), in addition to Period 2 newbies Isabela Merced (Ellie’s love interest Dina), Youthful Mazino (Ellie’s close friend Jesse), and Jeffrey Wright (repeating his The Last people Part II role as a militant leader).
It should be noted that Period 2 of the collection only adjusts component of the The Last people follow up, given that it’s a much longer and much more ambitious title than its predecessor. Consequently, HBO is preparing at the very least another season to completely cover the events of The Last of Us Component II.
It’s also worth keeping in mind that Period 2 was recorded in and around Vancouver versus Alberta for the first season. It stays to be seen what Pascal, Ramsey and the other actors and staff loved regarding capturing in B.C., provided their kept in mind love for Alberta.
In other PlayStation CES information, the gaming giant validated at the show that it’s establishing film adaptations of its Horizon and Helldivers franchises, along with a Crunchyroll anime series based on Ghost of Tsushima. Information on plot synopses and spreading weren’t verified.
